So because of school I was super late planting my garden this year – but it’s finally starting to produce goodies!
I have 2 kinds of tomatoes – one big one and then a cherry tomatoes plant!
And then a bunch of zucchini (and weeds!)
I’m going to have loads of zucchini – which is good because I LOVE zucchini pasta!
Also all my kale has pods of seeds!! I’m going to have LOADS of kale seeds
And then cucumber!! I have tried to grow cucumber a bunch of times and never had anything – so I was so excited when I saw these babies!
Do you see it?
Mmmmm cucumber!! I’m so excited for these to be ready!
Got to be careful of the bumble bees while in the garden though – he crawled over my toes! EEK!
I also have peas and beans and kale!
I cannot wait to start chowing down!

ReplyDeleteZucchini flowers!!!!! Every time I see those flowers I get kind of kale green. You see, Jamie O. has this awesome zucchini pasta recipe that requires the flowers. And since I've no garden, I have never been able to make the meal!
ReplyDeleteLove the garden! We planted our tomatoes late too, and there really are none close to ripe yet. I think we're going to end up with about 300 all at once....
ReplyDeleteWe also grew kale, onions, beets, cauliflower, dill, lettuce, and cabbage. We planted cukes but they didn't grow.... I'm swimming in beets (happily) over here :)
