Credit, where credit is due.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I put out a plea on facebook for a quick easy delicious desert, there were some great ideas, but I had already found my muse.

Then I went to one of my favourite bloggies, and found “Lemon Cashew Cheesecake”  oh my…   It’s RAW and VEGAN…

DSC_0451 Sorry the pictures are kind of dark… I made it at night…

DSC_0447 It tasted JUST like cheesecake… but a bit better…

It was amazing and will go into my “woo people” file of deserts…

Although, I have to figure out a different crust, as the people who ate it mentioned it was a bit heavy… (I made it a bit different than Averies)…

So you want this luscious recipe?

You have to go here to find it….

Enjoy, it was amazing!

  4. Hi Beautiful!!
Thanks for making the cheezecake and linking me :) You're awesome and love what you did w/ the strawberries!

Not sure what you did w/ the crust. I use almond flour and dates, agave, sometimes, basically just take any kind of ground nut or seed and add enough sweetness to give a "Crust vibe" and press into a pan/container. It's really simple. Is it light? No. But I wouldnt say heavy per se either. Raw desserts arent exactly "light" lol. Full of all that cashew goodness and agave..ha!

Love you honey, thanks for making this!!!

  5. This looks amazing, a combination of my favorite things: lemons, strawberries and cashew!

The presentation is so pretty too, I really like the small slices of strawberry arranged on top.

Can't wait to try this! Thanks for sharing :)
