I have been SO excited to do this giveaway for awhile. This product is something I LOVE, plus I haven’t seen a giveaway for this stuff in blog world yet!! :)
You might remember a few months ago I was sent a sample from Just Tomatoes.
A whole box of goodies… which included dried mango, veggies, strawberry/banana mix, fruit munch, strawberry and blueberry powder!
None of them contain anything except the fruit or veg stated… super clean delicious snack!
I tried VERY hard to not eat any of it until my upcoming trip.
Because they are so light, but filling they would have been a perfect travelling companion!! BUT… they kept calling my name and now everything is gone!!
My very favourite was the strawberries ‘n bananas.
It was crunchy, fruity and really satisfied my craving for something sweet! And it’s really a no guilt snack! Perfect!
I also really enjoyed the strawberry powder!
It’s made from "just" strawberries and is amazing in a smoothie and I also made chocolate strawberry oatmeal!! :) *drools*

Good luck!! Contest will end MONDAY, April 26th!!
I went to the Just Tomatoes site and because I love names, decided to learn why they picked that name. Just Tomatoes is about keeping their ingredients simple and transparent. As much as I've been reading lately about the dangers of hidden ingredients, I think my new motto will be: Just Tomatoes...please!
ReplyDeleteHi there Betty
ReplyDeleteWanted to let you know that I became a fan of Just Tomatoes FB page. You want to know a secret? I don't even like tomatoes! Well, at least I don't like them raw. I love 'em in pizza sauce and spaghetti sauce, and salsa, and ketchup...you get the idea!
Hi Betty. I think you said to leave separate comments for each of these activities, so here I am again. Wanted to let you know that I became a fan of your FB page. Do you see how intent I am at giving myself a good chance to win this prize? The idea of making my favorite spinach smoothies with that strawberry mix has the better of me!

I love the fact that the containers are recyclable AND that JT offers cute suggestions as to how to re-use the containers. And I learned that the Mango powder is 50% off right now which means I may be getting me some regardless of the contest. Mmm... mango...
ReplyDelete(Also wanted to say that just because I haven't been posting over at NV doesn't mean I haven't been reading your blog. I love hearing all the wedding deets as I got married just a little less than a year ago and am enjoying reminiscing about everything I went through. :) )

Just Tomatoes is a company that sells unique dried fruits and veggies with no added ingredients.
ReplyDeleteI am a teacher and I like that there are 'teacher resources' that can be used when teaching about nutrition.
Also I have just changed my 'eating' I am on week 7 of cutting out dairy/eggs, and sugar (when possible). Any quick easy healthy snack ideas to eat 'on the go' are great!
I learned that dehydrated carrots exist - yummo!
ReplyDeleteI am now a facebook fan of Just Tomatoes too.

Before you eat them all... add a few to cereal, sauces, baked goods, smoothies. Eat with Just Gone Bananas for a fun, 'good for you' treat. Use our Recipe Finder for more creative ideas in using our products.
