Ok guys, if I haven’t convinced you to try Zumba yet, here is my plea!!
“Ditch the workout and join the party!
I went to my first class last night and had the BEST time!
I VERY MUCH dislike group classes, always have… but this was awesome!
You just dance and have fun!! Here is another video I found… If nothing else, just press play to listen to the music!!
And let me tell you, this is a workout!!
You can find if there is a class in your area here, even if you are small town Canada (like me) there are probably classes near you!
After an hour of Zumba, I went to work and played an hour of one on one badminton against 3 people… 1:3!!! Needless to say I was poooooooooped!!
I think I am still pooped! So this is all my post is consisting of today, I’m feeling super blah today, but I still wanted to say HI!!!!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteI love love love Zumba, but can't find a class near me that works with my schedule. My gym used to offer it every other Friday at 6:30, which was kind of ridiculous. I thought a class like that would get a prime spot.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin teaches Zumba and I always take a class from her when I'm visiting. LOVE IT!
And you are right- it is SUCH a good workout, but you don't realize you are working out!
You're a better person than me! I don't do group classes - but that looks kind of enjoyable :)
ReplyDeleteI love taking classes, but my NY Sports Club by me doesn't offer very many exciting classes. I take spin once a week and kickboxing over the summer - they only have it once a week at 9:30 am!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you enjoyed Zumba, I'm so envious of those that can get in to it. I tried it with the girls and I'm SOOOOO uncoordinated that it was a total fail. :-(

My fav work out really depends on my mood, I'm training for a half now so running is where it's at but Spin classes are great too.
Lots of coordination for Zumba, but fun! I love kettle bell workouts, hot yoga, and long runs. AHhh....strength, stretch, and endurance. So fun.

I've done Zumba several times and I love it! I love how there's different styles of dance in it and everything. Super fun. LOVE the bellydancing tracks.

I like speed walking on an insanely high incline (treadmill), and I also like interval training.
i have never zumba'ed! i really need to. fave workout is for sure yoga b/c it's more than just a workout for me :)
ReplyDeleteWOW, I have never tried zumba!! It looks fun! But I am the worst dancer ever and when I do step class I am so bad at it.......I could only imagine how i would zumba :|

I want to try Zumba but it's just not a Kootenay thing! lol
