Wow… I just tested out an AMAZING recipe – inspired by this fabulous post..

Introducing RAW… rice-less sushi!
First off I soaked a bunch of sesame seeds for about 3 hours.
Then blended them together with some soya sauce and lemon juice. Until a rice consistency.
Chopped up my veggies

Layer with above veggies!
My sushi is NEVER complete without some spicy mayo!
Not raw, but whatever!! :) Mix these two together!
I didn’t end up taking great pictures, because I just wanted to eat it soooooo bad!! :)

ReplyDeleteI have never tried my hand at sushi, the only rawish foodie who hasnt I surmise and you inspire me to try it b/c honestly, you made it look so easy and good! Love the spicy dipping sauce. I just posted a link for my peanut sauce today which is super easy and good too w/ this type of food.
I have also seen people do cauliflower minced in the food proc for sushi rice too.

That sushi looks awesome! I just had some tonight and I'm still craving it. One day I would like to attempt sushi again but my rolls always seem to be a fail. Maybe I'll try tomorrow..
