Hey guys! I hope you had as perfect of a Valentine’s Day as I did!!
It started with crazy amounts of sunshine peaking through my curtains. Sun? what is sun? Is it really going to last all day?! Is it actually WARM outside… the answer is yes!!
Then Dave and I exchanged out gifts - $10 limit!
Mine – a card, book on kindness, "love coupons”, and a cd of music that reminds him of me… Can I get an awwwwwwwe??
Him – Card, hand made love coupons, and a homemade steak dinner by yours truly!!
I loved the $10 limit, it made us both be more creative rather than just grab something easy.
Then we headed out on a run/walk

Then to breakfast – Dave suggested a big fruit salad

It was full of apples, bananas, strawberries, nectarines, oranges, crasins, pecans – with a sauce of lime/agave
So yummy!
Then we headed out for a walk on the seawalk!

Our “big rock” – with the an Olympic little man
Little did we know, RIGHT beside this huge rock – there was a MASSIVE dead sealion – he was HUGE. One of his teeth was the size of 3 fingers together! EEK!

and mine with portabella mushroom which was really amazing!
It was an alright dinner – the potatoes (even after being washed) had little rocks in them… boo

Way to rich for our blood – good but I’m not sure I would make it again!
Then we finished our fabulous Valentine’s Day off with a beach fire with friends

See… it was a perfect Valentine’s Day!! My favourite one yet!

Well I must get going… I work all day today! It’s been a long time since I’ve done that, but I figured since it was reading week, I would pick up some extra shifts at work!
PS. If everything goes as planned, this week next year we will be in Mexico for our WEDDING!!

This is too cool, seeing familiar streets and paths and Big Rocks! I love it!! I wonder if the sealion carcass will still be there next time we get in to town? My kids would love it, stink and all! >.<
