Hey guys, sorry no post from me today. My back isn’t doing very good. I went to the doctor today and he said I had a major spasm in my 5 and 6th vertebrae.
I had to take the day off of work and school.
Any suggestions from out there in blog land?
Keep in mind, standing or getting up and down is pretty painful.
Thanks guys,
xo Jess
Sorry to hear about your back! I've had lots of back problems in my day and I'd say stretch, ice, heat! I hope you get to feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteRest it in bed!!
ReplyDeleteback pain is the worst! I know what helped me most when I injured my back was stretching!
ReplyDeleteOuch! That's no fun. Sorry to hear it. I don't have any good advice :(
ReplyDeleteAwww :( feel well soon. I agree with the stretch, ice and heat!

When I wrenched my back I spent several days resting and doing gentle pelvic tilts. Then I used a heating pad and gradually started doing (gently) yoga floor stretches. The yoga was amazingly helpful and I do it nearly every day. Pelvic tilts are really helpful.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I injured my back working in a warehouse. I know your pain!
ReplyDeleteI find lying on the floor with my legs up on the couch helps. Ditto for heat on the back! I use microwavable bean bags for that.
I'll be praying for you!!!! Hope you get better STAT!
i'm so sorry about your back! i wish i knew of something to help :( just take it easy and relax...
