The deal is I must tell 10 SECRETS!! EEK!! haha… I’ve taken awhile to think about this so I have some good ones!
They might not all be “secrets” but things you don’t know about me!
1-While you all might think I’m a pretty healthy eater – I eat ketchup chips and NEVER blog about them!! hehe.. I’m trying to break this habit!
2-I secretly believe every person is a very good person, until they prove me wrong. I get very disappointed at the # of people who generally are not good people. But I also get HUGE WARM FUZZY feelings when I see a genuinely good human being!
3-I have unrealistic fears of doctors and dentists.
4-My biggest “never going to happen” dream – I would love to be an acoustic guitar player and sing in cute little coffee shows. Think Colbie Calliat. She’s living my dream! PS. I have an off tone, not so good voice – and not musically gifted at all.
5. I dislike chores very much. Before I moved in with Dave my place was VERY messy all the time!! Now I do a little bit, but not as much as I should.
6. I want to have kids. BUT if I had a girl on the first go, I would be 100% happy to just have one child ( I am an only child, and it’s not a bad thing). I guess we shall see.
7. If I knew then what I knew now, I would have gone to school to become a Naturopath! I realize I still could… but?
8. I am a total 100% hippy at heart. Always have been!
9. Two different get-aways I would LOVE to do: A silent monastery – spending a week in silence, with no outside interaction. A yoga/healthy food retreat, focusing on self help type stuff…. those both sound FANTASTIC to me!!
10. At a time in my life I was VERY religious – while I do not go to church anymore or necessarily believe in one certain thing, the morals and values that I learned during that part of my life are 100% in my every day life.
There you have it folks.

I haven’t taken any pictures the last day as I tweaked something in my back yesterday and could hardly walk!!!
I actually at one point thought I wasn’t going to be able to stand up straight, but it’s gotten much much better. Still taking it pretty easy today though!!
One last note – I think we are going to see this guy on Friday… listen to his music he is AMAZING!!
You will love him…I would say more, but I don't want Dave to get jealous and not take me! hehe

ReplyDeleteHahaha, ketchup chips! That is awesome. Ketchup chips are really popular here but I'm not such a big fan of that flavor. But I LOVE almost all other flavors of chips, chips are one of my favorite thing to snack on. Salt and vinegar has to be my favorite though.
And I totally get where you are coming from about being an offbeat coffee shop singer. I WISH I could sing, but I most definitely can't. My husband is a musician and has a beautiful voice which only makes me more sad. I can't carry a tune to save my life!

ReplyDeleteI totally hear you on #2! It's so disappointing to find out the horrible things people are capable of doing, but the warm fuzzies from people's good deeds totally help to negate that feeling.
ahh get your guitar playing booty to a local coffee shop and do it up girl! that would be so awesome and you can totally do it on the side :)

I too have a little fantasy about singing... I love karaoke..
And... I do not like chores but I love cleaning... however, if someone expects me to do them... no thanks... I like more of the surprise aspect!

ReplyDeleteI haven't gone to church in a long time, but I still have all the same beliefs I grew up with. My parents actually ran a summer bible camp and we lived there! It was pretty cool!
I share the desire to go back and study to be a naturopath... maybe in the next left.... or next career?

Hope your back gets better fast. I did something to mine a while back and it took nearly a week to heal. Now I do yoga stretches most days to keep it in line.
